Puerto Rico District has begun the addressing campaign in Puerto Rico. Customers are now receiving the communication with the correct address format. The objective of this campaign is to inform our customers of their correct postal address and to educate the customer on proper address hygiene and format.
The goal is for the Puerto Rico customers to understand the basics to addressing standards and apply this knowledge when writing a postal address . By applying proper addressing during the preparation of mail, the US Postal Service will be able to achieve a higher level of service with less margin for sorting and delivery error. This will result in cost savings and increased customer satisfaction while as we improve our delivery service and operational efficiencies. The communication plan is to mail a mass 1.2 million Customer Address Notification (CAN) letter mailing to all residential addresses in Puerto Rico , lobby poster at every Post Office in Puerto Rico for customers to interact with and the employee can guide you to use the QR Code and USPS link available in the CAN letter and lobby poster to validate addresses.
